Remote Learning

Remote Learning Information during Coronavirus pandemic

Here you will find remote learning resources for children to access at home in the event of a school closure OR if children are not attending school due to self isolation.  Not all learning needs to be recorded on paper, however we are providing all children with a red book and pencil for activities that are best suited to a written response.

Shared Google Drive

To aid ease of access to resources, we have set up a dedicated, shared Google Drive which parents and children can access by following the step by step guide below.  Within this folder, you can access a weekly learning overview for each year group which outlines some activities for your children to do at home.  You will also find some website links and resource documents, which can be downloaded and printed.   To access this drive, you will need your child's Google Login details which are written in their pupil planner.  If you are unable to find these details, please contact the school office on who will gladly provide them to you.

In addition to the resources that teachers have outlined and prepared in the weekly overviews, below are some 'generic' learning activities your children could engage in:

  • Read with your child, tell stories, make up stories together or write stories together.
  • Access online resources such as Mathletics and Bug Club (log ins available in pupil planners).
  • Have a go at the daily 'keep fit' challenge.
  • Practise times tables, look at different shapes around the house, bake some cakes and measure the ingredients.
